Peterborough County

Phragmites video

The Project

As part of the Invasive Phragmites Control initiative, Peterborough County asked us to help them create an short educational video about what Invasive Phragmites are and what the County is doing to combat them.

This video is part of their Noxious Weeds campaign and the Ontario Phragmites Action (OPA) program that Peterborough County is participating in.

The Ontario Phragmites Action (OPA) program coordinates a collaborative, province-wide effort to combat the impacts and spread of invasive Phragmites. This initiative is made possible by the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and led by the Invasive Species Centre and the Nature Conservancy of Canada, alongside a network of dedicated partners.

Working with the County’s communications team and the Public Works division, we coordinated shoot days, filmed at various locations and edited the video for YouTube and social media. Our team also created a collection of hand-drawn animations to help illustrate the points being made and create a truly unique and engaging video.
