The Project
A new 911 system called the Medical Priority Dispatch System (MPDS) was being launched in March 2025, and the paramedic services needed a video to inform the public.
The video was a collaborative announcement to the public involving:
- The Peterborough County/City Paramedics (PCCP)
- City of Kawartha Lakes Paramedics (CKL)
- County of Haliburton Paramedics
- Lindsay Central Ambulance Communication Center (CACC)
They needed the project done quickly and professionally. That’s where we came in. We aided in editing the script and organized with each of the paramedic services and the Lindsay CACC for filming. Afterwards, we edited the video ensuring clear communication of the information while remaining visually interesting. In the end, we created an effective short video ready for launch in early March.
The Results
The video was published on Peterborough County's YouTube and social media channels and City of Kawartha Lake's Facebook.
The video received over 27k views and successfully gained an engagement rate of 0.9%
